Get the Trex IPTV app for your television, phone or PC
Five files sit on this page and almost nobody needs more than one of them. If you are on anything running Android, take the universal APK. If you watch on a PC, take the Windows installer. The other three are spare tyres, and there is a section further down explaining when to reach for one.
Every file here is served from this site rather than a file locker, so there is no countdown, no advertisement wall and nothing to close before the download starts. The player is free to install. What it needs to play anything is a subscription, and those are on the Trex IPTV plans page.
01The builds
Pick the one that matches the screen you watch on
Same player underneath, same channel list, same login. What differs is the interface: the television build is laid out for a directional pad, the mobile build for a thumb, and the desktop build for a keyboard.
TREX IPTV for Android TV
Android TV / Fire TV
The Trex player built for the ten-foot interface. Installs on Fire TV Stick and Android TV boxes with Downloader code 3926837.
TREX IPTV for Mobile, Tablet & Stick
Android phone / tablet / stick
The same player for phones, tablets and sticks. Downloader code 2270632, or install the APK directly on a phone.
TREX IPTV for Windows
Windows 10 / Windows 11
Desktop build for Windows 10 and 11. A keyboard makes searching a large catalogue far quicker than any remote.
Both Android cards deliver the same universal package. They are listed separately because the Downloader codes differ, and the code is what a Fire Stick owner needs rather than the file.
02When the universal file will not install
The three single-architecture APKs, and who they are for
Take one of these only after the universal package has failed. Downloading a build for the wrong processor gets you a parse error, not a smaller app.
An Android package can hold the native code for several processor families at once. The universal APK holds all of them, which is why it weighs roughly three times what the others do and why it installs almost everywhere. The trade is disk space, and on a stick with eight gigabytes of storage that occasionally matters.
The two symptoms worth knowing: an installer that stops with App not installed, and one that refuses on the grounds of storage. The first is usually solved by the arm64 build, the second by any of the three, since all of them are under twenty megabytes.
If none of them installs either, the problem is not the file. Message support with the make and model of the device and you will get a straight answer about whether it is supported at all.

Almost every television, stick and phone sold since about 2017.

Installing this on a Fire Stick
A Fire Stick cannot open a downloaded file from a browser, so the route in is the free Downloader app from the Amazon store, one setting turned on to allow it to install, and the seven digit code from the Android TV card above. That is three screens and about four minutes.
The full walkthrough, with the exact menu names Amazon uses and the same steps for Samsung, LG, MAG, Formuler and Apple hardware, is already written out on the setup page. It is not repeated here.
The app on its own is empty
Installing it gets you a login screen and nothing else. The channels arrive with a subscription, not with the download.
Three things to type in
Server address, username and password, emailed when the line is activated and kept on your account page.
First load is the slow one
It pulls the whole thousands of channel list and the guide before showing anything. Two or three minutes once, then never again.
Install it everywhere
Nobody counts installations. What is counted is simultaneous streams, and a standard line runs one at a time.
These installers are the Trex player only. They do not bundle a VPN, they do not need one to work, and they are not connected to any other application that might be on the device.
Downloaded the app and have no login yet?
That is the normal order of events. Pick a length on the plans page, pay once for the term, and the server address, username and password arrive by email within a few minutes of the payment clearing. Every length opens the same full channel list.
