TREX IPTV

Support

Something stopped playing. Let us get it back.

Most of what reaches Trex IPTV support turns out to be one of five things, and four of them you can rule out from the sofa in about two minutes. Start at the checks, read the questions if yours is there, and use the form at the bottom if it is not. All three routes end up in the same queue.

01First checks

Two minutes here saves an evening of messages

None of this is a way of putting you off. It is the same list we work through on our side, and doing it first means the reply you get is an answer rather than a question.

If all five come back clean, that is genuinely useful information and worth saying in your message. It tells us to stop looking at your house and start looking at the line.

Setup instructions per device

  1. Restart the box, not the app

Pull the power out of the Fire Stick or the television for thirty seconds and put it back. Closing the app and reopening it does not clear the buffer it is choking on. This alone accounts for a fair share of what people write in about.

  2. Try a second channel, then a film

If one channel stutters and the next twenty are perfect, the channel is the problem and we re-point it. If the whole list stutters and a film from the on demand shelf plays cleanly, the problem is a live source or the route to it. If nothing at all plays, it is the line or the connection.

  3. Check the line has not simply run out

Expiry is the quiet one. The app usually says something vague like connection failed rather than expired. Your account page prints the exact date and the days left on it, which settles the question in a second.

  4. Put the television on a cable if you can

Wi-Fi at the far end of the house is the most common cause of evening freezing, and an ethernet cable rules it out for good. If a cable is impossible, move the router or add a mesh point. No stream survives a two bar signal.

  5. Turn the VPN off before you blame us

A VPN adds a hop and often a slower one. Test with it off. There are a handful of providers who throttle streaming and a VPN genuinely helps, but you want to know which situation you are in before changing anything else.

02What to send

Six lines that get it solved on the first reply

A message that says it is not working takes three exchanges before anyone can do anything. A message with the list on the right takes none.

We are not collecting this for a form. Every item changes what gets checked: a device tells us which player quirks apply, a channel name tells us whether a source has moved, a time of day tells us whether to look at congestion at all.

Never send your account password, to us or to anyone else. We do not need it and we will not ask.

UsernameThe line username, or the order number from your receipt. Not your password, ever.
DeviceFire Stick, Samsung, MAG, Android box, phone. Be specific about the model if you know it.
AppThe player you are using. The same line behaves differently in different apps.
ChannelThe exact channel name as it appears in the list, not the sport or the match.
WhenA rough time and whether it happens every evening or once. Patterns matter more than screenshots.
Screen textWhatever the app actually says. Timeout, invalid credentials and no signal all mean different things.

Under an hour

Typical daytime WhatsApp reply, from a person who can see the account.

Same day

Tickets opened here, worked through in the order they arrive.

Usually within the hour

A reported channel pointed back at a working source.

No password requests

Username or order number is all support ever needs from you.

03Answers

The questions the support line gets most weeks

Different questions from the ones on the homepage. These are the ones that arrive after somebody has already bought and something has gone sideways.

If yours is not here, it is not a silly question and the form below is the right place for it.

Ask on WhatsApp instead

How long does a reply actually take?

WhatsApp is usually answered within the hour during the day and inside a few hours overnight, because it goes to a phone rather than a rota. Tickets from this page are worked through in order and normally answered the same day. If a message has gone a full day without a word, resend it on WhatsApp with the ticket number: something has gone wrong at our end, not yours.

Everything is fine until about eight in the evening, then it falls apart. Why?

That is congestion, and it is almost never the line itself. Between eight and eleven your own broadband is at its busiest, the popular channels have the most people on them, and any weak link in the chain shows up at once. Cable the television, test the same channel on your phone using mobile data, and tell us the result. Those two answers between them point at the router, the ISP or the source, and we treat each of them differently.

The app says invalid credentials but I have typed it correctly.

Nine times in ten it is a trailing space picked up when the login was copied out of an email, or a capital letter the on-screen keyboard added by itself. Type it by hand once, slowly, and watch the first character. If it still refuses, the line may have expired or be locked from being used in two places at once, and both of those we can see from our side in under a minute.

One channel is dead but everything else works.

Then that source has moved and it needs pointing somewhere new. Send the channel name exactly as it reads in the list. It is normally back within the hour. Worth saying plainly: a channel nobody reports is a channel that gets fixed slowly, because we cannot watch a thousand of them at once and the reports are how we know.

Can I move my subscription onto a different box?

Yes, and there is nothing to pay for it. On most devices you just type the same login into the new one and stop using the old. MAG and some Formuler boxes are tied to the device identifier, so send us the new one and we will swap it over. Only one device plays at a time regardless of how many you have set up.

I never got the email with my login details.

Check the spam folder first, then search for the order number rather than for our name. If it is genuinely not there, sign in to your account: the server address, username and password are printed there with a copy button, and that page is the source of truth rather than the email. We can also resend it, or read it out over WhatsApp.

Do you need my password to look at the account?

No, and we will not ask for it. The username or the order number is enough for us to find the line and see its status. If anyone claiming to be Trex IPTV asks you for your account password or for card details over chat, it is not us. Stop and message the number on this page.

What happens if you cannot fix it?

We say so rather than stringing it out. There are setups we cannot make work, usually an ISP doing something aggressive or hardware too old for the player. If we get there, the refund policy applies as written and you are not made to argue for it.

04Write to us

Open a ticket and it stays on the record

This goes to the same queue as WhatsApp, with one difference: the whole exchange is kept, so nobody has to remember what was tried last week.

You get an email confirming it arrived, then a reply to the same address. If you already have an account with us, the ticket is attached to it automatically and shows up alongside your orders.

Already signed in? Your existing threads are in your account, which is the better place to continue a conversation that is already running.

Buying rather than fixing? Pricing sits on plans and the credit block for resellers is explained on resellers.

Open a ticket

Everything marked below is needed. The more of the third box you fill in, the fewer questions come back at you.

Use the address the subscription was bought with where you can. It links the ticket to your orders straight away.

We use what you write here to answer you and nothing else. The privacy notice spells that out.
